Your initial welcome is just as likely to be a sniff from Chilli the dog as it is a crow from a rooster. It is a family-friendly place where you can relax and watch the wines being made around you — sparkling wines being set up for hand riddling, or pinot noir and chardonnay maturing in oak. Or perhaps you would simply prefer to sit out under the pergola with a glass of wine and take in Delamere’s tranquil, surrounds.
Open from 10am to 5pm every day except Christmas and Boxing Day.
We offer a traditional tasting of our entire current release range for $5 per person (refundable on purchase). However, if you are looking to explore further in your own time you can choose from one of four curated self-guided tasting flights. These consist of 40ml serves of four wines, chosen to a theme from our collection. The story of each wine is provided on take-home tasting notes, with space to add your own thoughts.
Collaborating with a local chef we showcase produce from: Yorktown Organics, Pyengana, Cassalinga, Coal River Farm and more. The emphasis is on seasonal produce that suits a picnicker’s palate. The food can be enjoyed on-site and/or taken with you on your journey.
